Where and when are we riding?
Onsite registration and check-in: 8:00-8:45am
Start time: 9:00am for all groups
The annual Campfire ride is taking place on September 17, 2023 on the pristine hills of Hockley Valley.  The ride will start at Adamo Estate Winery located at 793366 3rd Line EHS Orangeville, ON L9W 5X7

What are we riding for?
We are riding to raise funds to support Campfire Circle, a privately funded, volunteer-based organization that provides kids with and affected by childhood cancer. The camp strives to provide kids with unique opportunities to growth through challenging, fun, enriching and magical experiences. Learn more about the camp here.

What are the distances and average speeds of each group?
There are two distances to choose from during registration:

  • 70km: 1 pace group travelling 25km-27km per hour

  • 100km: 2 pace groups:

  • Club pace = 30+km per hour

  • Causal pace = 28km-30Km per hour

Rest Stops – We encourage all participants to prepare themselves with adequate fuel and hydration for the duration of the ride. There will be a rest stop right before the 50km mark at the Jackson Place Plaza in Beeton - 50 Main St E, Beeton, ON L0G 1A0
There will be more hydration and fuel being provided to participants at the rest stop.

Online registration closes on Friday September 16th at 11:30pm
Day of registration from 7:30-8:30am

What’s included with your participation?
With registration you will receive a 2023 The Campfire Ride jersey.  Jersey size selection made during registration.

What support will be available during the ride?
Riders will be supported by a follow vehicle, which will provide on route nutrition and supply on route mechanical service if necessary.

Any ride rules?
Event Rules: 

  • All riders must sign in and sign a release waiver at registration

  • No Littering! Please be respectful of the facilities and the roads

Equipment Rules:

  • Road bikes are strongly encouraged

  • Support vehicles will be following the ride for technical support

  • Riders are required to wear hard-shell ANSI or SNELL approved bicycle helmets during the ride and warm-up

  • The use of glass containers is strictly prohibited during the ride

What about post riding activities?
A post ride lunch will be provided as well as a draw of prizes from our generous sponsors (hyperlink once sponsor page is complete).


Our event is licensed, and there will be a selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages

Campfire Circle can provide a charitable tax receipt available towards $100.00 of the $175.00 registration fee after the event.
